The 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) piano keyboard offers a heavier touch in the bass and lighter in the treble, which is a hallmark of the acoustic piano. The newly designed speakers can deliver a very powerful sound in the bass as in the treble, closer to a real acoustic piano.
Its function Stereophonic Optimizer allows the use of the headphones, to perceive the sound with a natural diffusion of sound, as when sitting in front of an acoustic piano. When this function is activated, the sound seems to come from the body of the instrument and not from either side of the headphones. This gives an exceptional sound and eliminates the discomfort that can be caused during prolonged use of the helmet.
The "Intelligent Acoustic Control" function allows you to play with a balanced sound, even at low volume. Before Yamaha exclusivity, playing at low volume caused a loss of bass and treble. It automatically adjusts the sound quality according to the volume setting you have chosen. The speaker adjustment is done automatically, to raise bass and treble at low volume, for a sound always deep and realistic.
